1. Explanation of Material Transmitted:

   This chapter is rescinded because it does not communicate policy.  Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) policy requires OPDIVs to maintain a publicly available statement of organization and functions.  The official NIH Organizational Charts will continue to be maintained by the Division of Management Support (DMS), Office of Management Assessment (OMA), Office of Management (OM), Office of the Director (OD). It will continuously be revised with each approved organizational change package submitted to OMA, and is intended to provide readers with an up-to-date reference of the formal structure of NIH.  The organizational charts are supplemental information to Manual Chapter 1121, NIH Organizational Changes and will be cited within that policy.
